LIONHEAD INFORMATION!
This small and tiny rabbit has a compact build and its head is set closely to their body, they are very muzzled and their weights is normally around 3 pounds depending on their age. Their body is usually around 2 to 3 inch in length. The average lifespan is 8 years which depends heavily on the level of special care they have received throughout their life. What makes the Lionhead Rabbit unique and special is that it features a mane that has some visual similarities with the mane of a well-known animal, the lion. This lion mane is where the breed owes its name to.The lionhead can be seen as a friendly and well-mannered rabbit with a good personality. Although they enjoy attention of their owners and/or other rabbits a lot they don’t find it hard to be on their own. A strong social connection between rabbit and owner is therefore not required but still recommended. In general the lionhead rabbit is a recommended pet for young children due to their personality but it does needs some experienced handling. Moreover, when the rabbit feels insecure it might show signs of aggression. With the right amount of training by adults the lionhead rabbit makes also a good pet for children.
Handling is most important if someone doesn't handle the bunny right and it doesn't feel safe then its reaction is to show aggression so Please watch whoever is handling your bunny that they handle them properly.
